Parrot Stands

One of the pieces of furniture that a bird or parrot will use continually is the perch. Parrot stands are usually made of a synthesized material, because otherwise the parrot will chew up the natural material, including things like coconut shells. Some perches are made to be eaten, so you should check the material before you buy. Most of the time the synthesized materials are low weight, but sturdy enough to hold most different kinds of birds.

The majority of the parrot stands will fall into two categories, the flat bar and the multidirectional perch. The flat bar is either plastic or another synthesized material that can be attached to the side of the bird’s cage or hung from the top of the cage in the case of the perch swing. The other potential parrot stands are usually made of a rubber of another flexible material that is made into strands and then wound together. Generally these have two points which can be fixed onto different things. A serious of perches in this regard might form a string that cuts the cage into two, either vertically or horizontally. It is recommended for the bird that there are multiple perches to make sure the bird moves around the cage.
